Our Heritage

Doing Everything by Heart

Five Rivers, as our title suggests is coined from one of the most ancient civilized state of Punjab. Literally, Punjab is a union of five rivers namely Beas, Jhelum, Chenab, Ravi and Sutlej.

Though the partition in 1947 has separated the distribution of rivers between two states (of same name) in India and Pakistan – its people, language, cuisine and many a folk stories still ravish people all around the world. Right from ancient times, Punjab has been an affluent state in terms of economy, culture and strategic facts. It was this same land that had prosperous dynasties led by hardworking royalties.

With the determination our ancestors had in their ichors to triumph, same is the precept visible in the line of Five Rivers.

The Throne of Sher-e-Punjab (Lion of Punjab)

Living a life of the commons is this throne of a man with a golden heart. Such was his lifestyle that the throne itself displays the simplicity and valor with which he carried out the roles of kingship.

Honoring the foremost symbol of Sikh sovereignty we exhibit this handiwork so our guests can admire it as a souvenir.
